Pretty cool mixup. I'm happy the Dept. will be getting their money...sounds like they rely heavily on fundraising campaigns.

That is the purpose of our yearly Fund Drive. To raise the necessary funds to keep your department up and running. Without it, your property taxes and your homeowners insurance premium would increase. There would be a substantial increase for the cost of contracting an outside fire department, which you would have to incur.

Also, Pleasantville FD (NY) does not provide Emergency Medical Services to its residents...Pleasantville VAC does.
