New Pierce Ladder and Two Pumper Trucks Boost Fire Protection in the City

Mount Vernon, NY — Mount Vernon Mayor Clinton I. Young, Jr. announced today that the city will replace three 25 year old fire trucks with new state-of-the-art apparatus. A news conference will be held on Tuesday, September 6th at 11:00am at Mount Vernon City Hall Plaza to welcome two new Pierce pumpers and ladder truck to the Fire Department fleet.
