Nice shots!

I love the photos that shows Ladder 19 got right in there and positioned themselves to get the aerial into the right place.

I always thought that area was Larchmont.

If you walk out of the fire building and go across the street you will be in the Village of Larchmont . When you get to the VOL and turn left go 50 yards and you are back in the Town of Mamaroneck. Continue west another 200-250 yards and you are in New Rochelle.

What else do you need ?????

The back all it says is rescue 6 not the name of the town or anything like that.

Agreed, it doesnt follow the typical buffiness associated with today's rigs, but I hope it starts a new trend...in today's economic times, it is OUR DUTY to be fiscally responsible with the taxpayer's money...this means forgoing the multitude of whoopie lights, elaborate striping and lettering, etc.

I am becoming a huge fan of streamlined, business ready apparatus. Oh...and I am anti-bell on the bumper too...what a waste of $$$$

If you can't read the name as it passes you either you don't see well or it's going too fast. Either way it doesn't really matter what's on the back .

The bell on the engines are tradition. However they are not new, they have been taken from from the engine that they replaced. As there was not one on the previous rescue, there is not one on the new rescue.
