Details: The Atlanta police department will be recruiting police officers on Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at Hilton Hotel Conference Room located at 1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY, 10019. Interviews will be held from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Anyone arriving after 8 AM will not be admitted. Testing will be held from 12:30pm - 5:00pm. Please complete an online application and review the required documents listed above and bring them with you to the job fair.

They are not the only agency, a few years back, the PA State Police held an Exam at a location in NYC.

Along with Vegas, Phoenix, Rochester, Seattle or Portland, I don't recall which...maybe even both, and there were probably more. A lot of departments were in NYC (mainly at John Jay, IIRC) back when you couldn't give law enforcement jobs away, before the economy nosedived and we civil servants suddenly became such a greedy, overpaid drain on everyone.
