Detroit 8-cyl diesel engine. Allison auto transmission. Starts, runs & drives. 4X2. Fair tires. Fair body: everthing works, all compartments are water tight. Has 6kV remote start Onan generator with 611 hours (engine knocks a little but it works). Fair interior: needs a little work, everything works, normal wear & tear. Fair mechanically: truck runs very good, engine is perfect, transmission shifts fine. Sold with keys & clean title.

I do not know which, if any, departments it served before TMFD, but I do know the body was made by Marion

I'm surprised the DPW wouldnt want R6 for maybe a service truck or something else.

The Town Yard already has the old mini attack which has been converted as a service truck. You can see it in the back ground in one of the pics. The blue truck.

R-46 was never used as an ambulance with TMFD. It was more of a support vehicle to R-6. It carried a lot of large bulk items (booms, pads, barricades, rehab etc). It was also used for downed wires as to free up engines from standing by.
