Structure Fire - La Grange Fire District - 11 Trinity Way.- 6/2/11

La Grange, assisted by Arlington, Beekman, East Fishkill, Pleasant Valley, and Union Vale operated at this structure fire at #11 Trinity Way. La Grange was dispatched shortly after 6:00 am :huh: for a reported structure fire at that address. LA Grange 47-11 arrived withing several minutes and encountered fire from the A-B corner of the structure with all the occupants out of the structure.....

Firefighter/Medic Tom Martel was first due with 47-11 and was O/S in several minutes with heavy fire showing.....

Another McMansion burns... oh well, I am sure those developers would build another one on the same spot within a month (if it had been beyond repair)...

Cheap particle-board, trusses everywhere... be safe out there with all this "engineered lumber"... designed to hold substantial weight, but not under fire loads. Firefighter killers!!!

From Anothe Picture On Bill's Website It Looks Like They Were Having UnionVale Feed LaGrange Engine. I Could Be Wrong But Thats What I See.

I think your one pic is Chief Broas from PV not Chief Ward

Both are in that picture (look behind Broas), but since it was a fire in LaGrange, I would assume that 47-2 was Command, not 56-1... ;)

yes you are right that car is 47-2 Barry word L.F.D with no helmet on it is on the floor by the car and Ray 56-1 is with him cuse his dept was there he was at the cammend post also in one of the other photos is 56-3

How many guys staff the career engine? I know they have more during the day but how many at night?

Thanks everybody..... Two Canon 5MK II's and 24-70 and 70-200 lenses were used here .....
