Austin fire officials hired temporary workers from a self-described "community rehabilitation program" to interview and score responses from thousands of firefighter applicants on recent entry-level tests.

So, these out of work people they found on craigslist, the welfare roles, Goodwill, unemployment, etc, must be overqualified to take jobs like FF or waiter.

The Fire Chief should be doing the interviews. This should be accomplished by firing him and picking him from Goodwill, along with the rest of the menagerie that thought hiring the unimployed to do interviews was a good idea.

Our elected government, all branches, all levels has been teter-totering on the edge for quite a while, now. It may be starting to tip too far, now, and may fall into the abyss if we don't fix it. Think before you vote.
