Can You Copyright Grafitti?

I saw this the other day in San Antonio. Can you really put a © on something and say no photos?

(BTW, the paint over of the actual "work of art" was really there, it's not photoshopped in)

Better yet can the artist who painted this grafitti use the U.T. Longhorns logo and slogan? :unsure::D:D

Can you say tongue planted firmly in cheek?? If it's a commissioned piece, like a mural or something, then maybe it actually could be copyrighted. Otherwise, lock the guy up.

Just because it has a © doesn't mean that it is, it has to be registered by the author / creator for replications. If he's not registered, then its falsifying a copyright and punishable by fines and arrest... technically.

Also for a correct copyright to be displayed it has to be like this:

© 2011 - IzzyEng4 for EMTBravo
