BEIJING (AFP) – Seventeen poor migrants died when a fire swept through an illegally constructed Beijing building on Monday, state media and officials said, in the latest accident to highlight lax Chinese fire safety.

It is a tragedy that 17 people had to die, this should serve as a lesson to those who illegally construct buildings, and try to get away with it... it comes to light one way or another.
