Description Of Incident: Gas Leak with smoke in commercial structure

60-Contol dispatched Harrison to a commercial alarm at The Calvert Apartmets. Units arived on scene to find inside smoke. 2163 notified 60 control to upgrade alarm to inside smoke invest. 2163 requested 2nd tone out for manpower and 2nd due engine. U20 responed with manpower while E12 responed from the FTC. 2163 requested VMFD's E38 with manpower to his location. 60-control dispatched E38 to scene with manpower. 2243 and E38 responded. 2163 requested Building department and Con ed to scene. 60-control advises 20min ETA for Con ed. 2161 advises that the orgin of smoke was unfounded, curently investigating gas leak in basement. Around 1430hrs, Scene turned over to Con Ed, all units were clear.
