Description Of Incident: Male wanted for a domestic offense, possibly high on PCP, found on the roof threatening to commit suicide by hanging from the buildings 4th story ledge. YPD ESU deployed high angle gear and set up multiple rope rescue systems for an EDP snatch and began negotiations. NYPD ESU set up the airbag and removed several objects to facilitate its use. After 2 hours of negotiating ESU initiated a pick off and the male was tackled from the roofs ledge by several ESU officers and placed into custody. YPD & Empress transported the male to St. Joes for psychological evaluation.
