MARCH 26, 2011 – CLARENCE, NY - It is with deep regret that the New York State Police announces the death of Trooper Kevin P. Dobson, a 14 year veteran of the New York State Police.

Trooper Dobson was killed in the line of duty this morning at approximately 7:30 am while conducting a vehicle and traffic stop on Interstate 290 just east of the Colvin Blvd. exit (exit 2).

RIP Brother. My condolences to his family, friends, and fellow NYS Troopers. Thank you for all you did to keep us safe!
