Location: Middle St. & Gold St.(Bing Maps)(A Block Away from Fire Headquarters)

Frequency: Bridgeport Fireground - Channel # 2(153.700)

Weather Conditions: Warm and Clear

Description Of Incident: Battalion 1 o/s reporting heavy smoke showing from the "A" side of a vacant building and transmitting the 2nd Alarm. Heavy fire in a vacant 100x50 3-story brick commercial building originating in the basement. Aggressive exterior attack launched w/numerous L/S/O's and master streams in operation w/truck companies opening up. All searches negative w/no injuries reported.

17:03hrs. - Battalion 1 reqesting Engine 12 to feed Ladder 10's ladder pipe. Ladder 10 is set up on the "A/D" corner of the building.

17:05hrs. - Command requesting BPD for traffic control.

17:45hrs. - Command reporting numerous ground monitors in operation. Fire is DWH.

17:46hrs. - Command reporting fire in a 100x50 3-story brick commercial. Exposures are: Exposure's A and B are the streets and Exposure's C and D are vacant lots. Fire remains DWH.

19:38hrs. - Deputy 1 reporting companies still working and making headway.

20:28hrs. - Command reporting fire in the basement.

20:39hrs. - Recall of alarm.
