$23,500 on a study that says officers used just over half of their allowable sick time (11.3 of 19.5 days) and should use less. Wow, tha'ts money well spent.

If they get 19.5 days and use less shouldn't they be complimented? I expected the article to say that the sick-time was being abused. Anyone with kids has to take time off when they can't go to school (either because they're sick or the school closed). Must have been a slow news day.

How could one compare a 660 man City police department to a 60 person town police department. What a joke and a waste of $$$. Thats like comparing Eastchester to Yonkers FD.
