With a 45 minute response time to the scene these photo aren't as spectacular as some others I've recently seen on Facebook. However the sun was in just the right place and there was little hazard, and plenty of time to shoot rigs!. All these shots are linked to larger versions.

Lakeville just about dumped their station as did Sharon, CT

Amenia's other engine was placed in service as a tanker.

Hydraulic overhaul via Sharon Tower 1, drafting out of a dump tank that was being filled continuously by tankers from Amenia, Wassaic, Lakeville, Canaan, and Cornwall. Lakeville's old American La France was the water hole truck down on Sharon Station Road.
