Trustees and Fire Wardens Discuss Fire Administrator Position

Both sides had a variety of concerns that need to be addressed before moving discussions forward.

Last year, the Tarrytown Board of Trustees had a casual conversation about hiring an administrator to oversee the Tarrytown Fire Department.

On Wednesday, trustees met with the Board of Fire Wardens to clear the air and spell out where the village was in the process. Trustees noted that the discussion on the subject was preliminary, but that it caused a lot of distress among firefighters
