Firefighters slug it out with Bronxville blaze

Written by Leslie Korngold and Rob RyserBRONXVILLE — An overnight fire that started in the laundry room of the Village Day Spa near the Metro-North train station was put out despite obstacles to firefighters from Eastchester.

It was a difficult fire to fight in a deep, narrow two-story building, Eastchester Assistant Chief Ralph Stupple said.
