Description Of Incident: NYSDOT truck vs. van head on w/entrapment and severe head trauma.

0950 - East Kingston and Mobile Life Support respond for a head-on PIAA with entrapment, 1 patient unconscious.

0954 - East Kingston command reporting patient with severe head trauma, requesting Glasco to shut down Rt. 32 and Ulster Hose to the scene with their Jaws, also to launch Medevac.

0956 - Ulster Hose with Jaws to scene, Glasco requested to shut down Rt. 32 between Ulster Landing Rd. and Potter Hill Rd.

0958 - Ulster Hose with 1 engine to set up a landing zone at the Ulster Airport

1000 - East Kingston 2nd alarm transmitted for manpower.

1002 - Landing zone established.

1006 - Ruby with 1 engine to standby at East Kingston station #2.

1014 - LifeGuard-18 with an 8 minute ETA.

1024 - Patient extricated, packaging to transport to the LZ.
