Initial Summary:    Firefighter Phillips responded to multiple calls during an overtime shift. Two hours after completing the overtime shift, he suffered a dissecting aortic aneurysm.

He was transported to the local hospital where the aneurysm was diagnosed and airlifted to a Dallas hospital. He died during emergency surgery to repair the aneurysm.

And, he was married and leaves behind his wife and 3 kids, ages 4, 2 and 7mos. What a tragedy... :sad: :sad:
