Noroton Heights CT FD "Mack Mecca" (From The EMTBravo Attic Series)

Poking around some more in the EMTBravo Attic, I found these two photo sets from Noroton Heights FD in Noroton Heights, CT (just east of Stamford). Noroton Heights can be reffered to as the "Mack Mecca", and the photos do a great job of expaining why. Be sure to read the text.

Wow, Tappan has an awesome fleet of CF's.

BUT, has Tappan taken delivery of "new" Mack CF's? NHFD has taken a Mack CF snorkle and made it a Mack CF tanker, a tanker and made it a Quint, a former FDNY BOT Engine that was near mint and made it a rescue Engine, etc? A lot of work done in house. These Mack CF's are in basically brand new condition when repurposed and (re)delivered, and nobody has the talent of Scott Plank and NHFD to do this.

They have a modern fleet of Mack CF's. That's what makes their fleet unique.
