Description: Fire units initially dispatched to medical aid man with a gun threatening to shoot people. En route the engine assigned advised a heavy column of smoke showing and requested a 1st alarm assignment. Units staged waiting for sheriff units to clear the scene. A 2nd residence then caught fire and a 2nd alarm was started. At the time of this IA, units in active firefighting activities. IA to be updated when incident concluded.
