Description Of Incident: Ice Rescue

1639hrs-Orange 911 dispatching Orange Lake FD to the above location for the ice rescue; Male victim reported to be unconscious, secondary to a fall, in a boat out on the lake. OLFD Car-1 responding.

1642hrs-Orange 911 advising OLFD Car-1 that PD and EMS have set-up their command post IFO the Lakeside Apartments on Lakeside Rd.

1643hrs-Orange 911 advising that EMS has requested a medevac on S/B for this incident. OLFD Car-1 on scene, establishing Command.

1649hrs-Orange Lake alerting Winona Lake FD; request their Rescue and Ice Rescue equipment to S/B in their own quarters.

1650hrs-Orange Lake advising Command that EMS has requested a launch of the medevac. Orange Lake FD re-sounded; additional manpower needed to set-up an LZ at their Firehouse.

1653hrs-Winona Lake FD E320 responding to Orange Lake's Firehouse for the LZ.

1657hrs-LZ has been established.

1701hrs-Command advising that the patient has been removed to shore and is in the care of EMS.

1705hrs-Orange Lake LZ advising Medevac is on the ground.

1713hrs-Command advising situation under control, all members off the ice, in the process of picking up.

1717hrs-Orange Lake LZ advising that the patient has arrived at the LZ.

1731hrs-Orange Lake LZ advising that the medevac is off the ground, en-route to St. Francis.
