Thoughts and Prayers for Former Firefighter

A White Plains man is clinging to life after being struck by a car in what authorities described as a tragic "double hit and run" incident that also left two good Samaritans early Sunday.

Police said Raul Rios, 23, who served briefly as a city firefighter, is in "extremely critical condition" at the Westchester Medical Center," after being hit by a car near the Kennedy Fried Chicken restaurant at 120 E. Post Road.

I believe that Raul is still a member of a volunteer agency in westchester. All the best wishes for a recovery and thoughts and prayers for his family.
