FIRE FIGHTER/EMT

Hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Applications are being accepted to fill two FT positions within the Fire Dept/Ambulance Assoc. FF1 applicants must hold current certification in FF1, hazmat operations, CPR, basic first aid, & disease transmission & hold a recent CPAT card (issued after 1/1/05) or be registered for a CPAT with the CT Fire Academy by 4/12/05. FF1/EMT applicants must hold all requirements of FF1 plus current CT certification in EMT, CPR, & AED and have a min of 3 years of active EMT experience. Both positions require CDL Class II license with a tank vehicle endorsement or Q restriction. Salary range $15.00 hour including benefits. Application packages available at Selectmen’s Office.
