New Haven 20 Lawyer killed in Florida plane crash

The Texas lawyer who successfully argued the “New Haven 20” firefighters’ discrimination case before the U.S. Supreme Court died when the single-engine plane he was piloting crashed in Florida Tuesday.

Gregory Coleman, 47, crashed into Choctawhatchee Bay, about 200 yards from the Destin Airport runway, in heavy sea fog, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
