p*** Mag Links Jackson and Accuser

By Joal Ryan

The boatloads of p*** and fingerprints at the Michael Jackson (news) molestation trial merged their payloads Friday: a magazine linking Jackson to his accuser.

Jurors heard testimony about an October 2000 issue of Barely Legal on which prints from both the entertainer and the boy were found, Court TV said.

A print said to be Jackson's was identified on page 54; a print from the boy on page 92, according to the report.

The accuser and his brother testified that Jackson showed them X-rated magazines during visits to Neverland Ranch. The defense doesn't deny that Jackson is a connoisseur of perfectly legal titles such as Barely Legal but asserts that the boys helped themselves to his stash.

In all, investigators zeroed in on 19 prints culled from the hundreds found on adult magazines, books and DVDs seized in November 2003 from the master bedroom suite at Neverland.

In the past three days, the prosecution has gone through the p*** haul in an exacting manner, first showing off pictures, pictorials and centerfolds then showing off prints found on those materials.

It wasn't until Friday that a prosecution witness willingly put names to the prints. According to the Los Angeles Times, retired Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Sgt. Robert Spinner testified that 12 of the featured prints belonged to Jackson, five to the accuser and two to the accuser's younger brother.

The accuser's prints were found on three magazines; the brother's on one, Court TV said.

Three of Jackson's fingerprints were found on magazines published after the molestation allegedly occurred in February and March of 2003, the Times reported.

The brother's print became a point for the defense on Thursday, when sheriff's forensic technician Lisa Hemman acknowledged that she'd originally ruled the evidence inconclusive.

On Friday, the defense continued to hammer away at how the prints were handled, quizzing one deputy over a mislabeled fingerprint and a court clerk official over the handling of evidence at last year's grand-jury hearings.

Superior Court Judge Rodney S. Melville, known for exacting the most out of each court day, granted jurors a head start on the holiday weekend, excusing them a few minutes early.

"I can't take it anymore," Melville said, per reports.

Jackson, an adhesive strip on his chin, offered a customary wave to supporters on his way out of the Santa Maria, California, courthouse. Defense attorney Brian Oxman didn't explain the bandage but noted that his bad-back-suffering client has "really had a time staying out of pain."

As for Oxman, back in court after being hospitalized this week for pneumonia--he said he was "hanging in there."

Jackson, 46, is accused of molesting a boy, then 13, lowering the child's defenses with wine and liquor and conspiring to hold him and his family against their will. The pop star has pleaded innocent to all charges.

On Easter Sunday, Jackson will "share the story of his life," per the PR blurb, in a live radio interview with the Rev. Jesse Jackson (news - web sites) on the civil-rights leader's syndicated show.

The story of MichaelJackson's trial may well be written on Monday.

That's when Judge Melville will hear arguments as to whether evidence and witnesses from the unfounded 1993-94 Jackson molestation case can be introduced into the trial. To recap the potentially obvious: The prosecution wants jurors to hear about the old case; the defense does not.

When that potential make-or-break matter is decided, sitcom star George Lopez is scheduled to take the stand.

Lopez was among the comedians who came to the aide of the boy at the center of the current case when the child fell ill with cancer in 2000. Though labeled a prosecution witness, Lopez has been cited by the defense as an example of a celebrity who was exploited by the accuser and his family.

GUILTY, without a doubt!!!!

Even if he were innocent, just look at him, hes a freak show! From the way he looks, acts and dresses, it just doesn't help his case! That man could have had any chick at one point & time (and probably still could), but instead he shares his bed with little boys!!! If thats not guilty, i don't know what is!!!

Unfortunately, he'll probably settle out of court & never see a day of jail! Look at OJ....its all about $$$ & high-end lawyers!!!

Jackson is guilty and he knows it, too. Just look at what he's trying to do with appearing in court dissheveled, disoriented, and looking "sick;" he is trying to gain sympathy from the jury to hide the fact that he is nothing more than a base form of human life, ie, a sexual predator.

As far as Robert Blake, he's another one who had the word "guilty" written across his forehead. But apparently in southern California, unlike northern California, it's legal to kill your wife - Robert Blake and OJ have something in common.
