Battalion Chief Eric Lofgren provided pictures to FOX 12 that show nails sticking out of a fence and sharp wooden stakes in a pit covered with brush....

Exterior attack from 50 yards, protect everything/everyone outside the perimeter & let it burn itself out. Just make sure everyone is wearing SCUBA, wouldn't want anyone becoming overcome by the noxious fumes as the plants burn!

I agree to stay away and fight it from a distance. Also, we are taught when searching and moving around in a structure to check and listen for a floor. Perhaps something like this can be done outside too...of course if time allows. Safe bet however is to stay away and fight from a far. I am glad that no one got hurt.
