Chesterfield, MO - Helicopter Crash / LODD 10-15-10

Description: Police helicopter from Missouri Highway Patrol crashed while returning from a traffic enforcement assignment. The pilot and sole occupant, Sgt. Joseph Joe Schuengel (47), a 17 year veteran of the MHP was killed in the crash. Noone on the ground was injured. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
