Ossining town picks Westchester for police merger

OSSINING — Town police soon will be trading in their uniforms.

The Ossining Town Board voted Tuesday night to commence contract negotiations with Westchester County for police services, ending months of turmoil on the future of the town's Police Department. The town's 15-member force will all become Westchester County police.
