A firefighter's knowledge and skills, not guesswork or good luck, marks them as a professional. This lecture will review modern fire dynamics, identify the visual cues that can assist in determining the stage of fire, and predict the changes that are likely to occur. These skills are essential in ensuring the correct selection of firefighting strategies and tactics in the control and suppression of fires.
