Whats going on on the Sprain Brook Pkwy - 9/17/10

Just wondering if anyone know...i work in the area and the traffic has been spilling onto the local roads for about an 90 mins now

About 1610 there was a 6 car accident Northbound directly across from the TMZ where the Sprain goes from three to two lanes as it merges into the Taconic. I drove by it heading southbound shortly after it happened (before Fire, EMS or PD were on scene) and it looked like most occupants were out of their vehicles (although I did hear Hawthorne FD EMS transport one). It did not look too bad, basically bumper to bumper to bumper. I heard Hawthorne FD call back in service about 1640 so I headed back up the Sprain but detoured off when I saw it backed up to I287.
