Description Of Incident: Head-on 2 car MVA, Driver in vehicle one was pinned for over 40 minutes, being worked on by ALS units, Driver of Vehicle #2 apparently fled scene, leaving vehicle behind, possibly brought to hospital by other means. Snowy conditions causing serious road hazards county-wide!! 2nd ALS unit requested by 35M1 on arrival. C2263 is the IC. LMVAC in qtrs w/ add'l crew.

We had to pop both the driver side and passenger side doors, take off the roof, cut the steering wheel and roll the dashboard forward to remove patient.

Short Description Of Incident: 2 Car Head on, Old body style eclipse vs. Audi TT, Significant damage to both vehicles... Audi grill emblem embedded in eclipse front end. Pt. 1- Driving eclipse NB on Rt.6. Lower extremities pinned underneat dash and steering column, Pt intially critical, then down graded to unstable... 45min extrication... done very well... both agencies work very well together... Pt. 2 Driving Audi SB enroute to HVHC already... Pt refused all attention on scene and was brought to HVHC by other means, but not for med eval. Pt. 1 in CC in ICU....
