Location: Four Mile Canyon Area

Departments: Boulder FD, PD, EMS, Emergency Management, plus County resources and mutual aid.

Description: Many homes and farms are being evacuated as a major wildfire(s) fueled by high winds moves through the area. Several homes and at least one fire engine have been destroyed. Large-scale evacuations and relocations underway, one fire is only about 75% contained right now. Winds are gusting to 45 MPH and have grounded small firefighting airplanes. Two larger airplanes are enroute to support the operation.
