Rochester firefighters union sues city

The Rochester firefighters union has sued the city seeking nearly $600,000 it claims rightfully belongs to the union.

Filed in state Supreme Court this week, the lawsuit is the latest salvo in a bitter, eight-year legal back-and-forth between the union and the city over the use of so-called 2-percent funds from the state Insurance Commission....
