I just want to take a minute to thank EVERYONE who was on the MCI this morning, a quick summary of the job HEMS A1 assigned to a MVA/Rollover on 287 @ exit 8 ,when my partner and I arrived there were several patients on the ground, there were 4 more on top of a van that was on it's side and the rear was wrapped around a tree and there was 4 more pt's inside, after requesting additional resources we began trying to get the critical patients out of the overturned van , it was a very difficult job that went as smooth as it did because of the numerous agencies that responded. I am very proud to work with these emergency responders every day but today I was extremely proud to be part of what I think is the greatest 911 system in NYS if not the country especially the EMS,FD and PD agencies I work with on a daily basis , you guys are truly the BEST the BRAVEST and the FINEST.
