Shots Fired at Chicago FF's

An elderly man fired shots at Chicago firefighters shortly after midnight today (Aug. 18) when he believed someone was breaking into his home, according to The Chicago Sun-Times.

The incident occurred in the Woodlawn neighborhood at 12:45 a.m. at 6335 S. Rhodes Avenue after a crew was dispatched to his home because a medical emergency bracelet or necklace had activated, Grand Crossing District Police Capt. Alberta Raymond told the newspaper.
