Weather Conditions: Hot and humid

Description Of Incident: Heavy smoke showing on arrival from the 1st and 2nd floors of a 2-story P/D. Fire found on the 2nd floor. Fire under control within 20 minutes. Homeowner transported to Bridgeport Hospital for smoke inhalation and one firefighter transported for minor injuries. Two dogs were saved, however, two cats died. Fire under investigation by FFD's FMO.
