Description Of Incident: I-95 northbound side just after Nelson Ave bridge going toward Rye

1:00 too 1:30 pm. I-95 northbound - tractor trailer fire on shoulder. Heavy smoke and flames showing from several blocks away. Arriving on scene Rye FD, Harrison FD, Mamaroneck FD, where just coming under the nelson ave bridge in Harrison.

RYE PD where just arriving on scene minutes apart from each other.

I-95 north bound was at a complete stop no traffic moving reports coming in saying back up all the way to New Rochelle. FD were using deck water guns and hand lines to put the fire out.
