Description Of Incident: Chlorine leak

1240hrs- DEP has a chlorine leak contained inside a building. Report several people exposed. Workers were installing a 2,000lb tank when a valve malfunctioned.

1245hrs- PD has perimeter in place. Leak reportedly inside the building. WC B-11 enroute. Medic enroute for stand-by.

1250hrs- FD command post in front of entrance building to Shaft 18. (3) DEP workers exposed with (-) symptoms ATT.

1254hrs- IC req. PD to the command post. (1) of the exposed workers transported to WCMC for evaluation.

1257hrs- B-11 advises command post moving to the DEP Police guard booth.

1430hrs- Haz Mat teams assembled and preliminary entry made. Rpts that a container of chlorine is leaking inside a contained room.

1530hrs- Haz Mat has made multiple entries with seperate teams and mitigated the leak.

1615hrs- Co's continue to operate with a 3rd entry team standing by to make entry.
