PITTSTOWN, N.Y. — Police say an SUV collided with a truck carrying ice cream on an upstate New York highway, killing four people, including a Vermont mother and her two children.

*Route 7 has had a number of major fatalities in the past few months, this of course being one of the worst. Driver of the SUV was flown to Albany Medical Center but was pronouced on arrival.
