Clark County, NV Fire Cuts

In an overtime cutting proposal, expected to pass the county board shortly, Clark County Fire will no longer staff Heavy Rescue, Air Unit, Haz Mat, and (1) Tanker. These units will be driven out, when needed, by other station personnel. Some other areas will also see split coverage with LVFRD and North Las Vegas. The department is also eliminating positions within the department and sending the firefighters and officers back to the line. This includes the PIO:
