LaGrange 2nd Alarm w/victim - 6/3/10

I wanted to extend a congratulations to all that were on the scene of the fire in LaGrange last night, I know a lot of those people on scene are members here, including 'on the job'. Joe and LaGrange FF/Paramedic Anthony Champion made the grab of the elderly victim, extricated, and initiated treatment. This recognition is not intended to detract from the consolidated effort to rescue/save/revive the victim, which was amazing to witness firsthand (having never been on a scene with a rescued victim before).

The victim was transported to St. Francis hospital, and then transferred to WMC.

Hats off to LaGrange FD and Arlington Group 4 for a job well done, a good save and quick knockdown. I am privileged to know and call most of you friends, and fellow firefighters.
