From FireGrantSupport.com the Mount Vernon Fire Department has been awarded $191,392 from round 13 (April 30, 2010) of the Assistance to Firefighters Grants program (Operations and Safety catagory) towards the purchase of $239,240 for Personel Protective Equipment.
