I'm currently sitting at the bottom of new york harbor with my laptop watching this live, I had no idea this was happening today or I would have brought my camera! I'm going to try and take pics as the boats pass me on the west side with my phone ( that is dying)

So everything is passing me right now on the harbor, the coast guard is here, and a bunch of other FDNY Boats as well including the John J Harvey ( notorious for returning to service on 9/11 and helping bring water into downtown Manhattan). The Three Forty Three is a really beautiful ship up close, hopefully it serves them well for many many years to come.
