Description Of Incident: rescue of a person in the water, reportedly survived a jump off the GWB.

Battalion 13: Port Authority is reporting a closed abandoned vehicle midspan, have L36 respond to Dyckman Marina and see if they can get a view from above the bridge.

BC13: 1739, Aviation's on scene, k. We're just north of the bridge at 181 st, we don't see anything, do you have an ETA for Marine 1?

Marine 1 has a southbound tide and 8 minute ETA.

L36: Box 1793, we have nothing at the Dyckman Marina, do you have anything further?

NYPD confirms a person in the water about a quarter mile south of the bridge midspan.

BC13: It looks like they're getting ready to put divers in the water from the Aviation unit.

Marine 1: We're on-scene at Box 1739, PD Aviation helicopter is here, they have divers in the water.

BC13: NYPD is attempting to remove the person from the water via helicopter bucket, Marine 1 is moving alongside to see if they can assist.

BC13: We can confirm the person is out of the water, in the helicopter. Marine 1 has NYPD divers on board and is proceeding to 125 st to drop off the divers.

BC13: The victim's been offloaded the helicopter at 125 st and has been loaded onto the ambulance. Makes this a 10-37 no code (Assist civilian - other)

As per news reports http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/teen_plunges_off_gwb_and_lives_6HKazllUb8yuFvTVY2PHwM victim was removed in extremely critical condition.
