THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 AM EDT TUESDAY. A COASTAL FLOOD WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS COASTAL FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

TIDES RANGING FROM 1.0 TO 1.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL WILL CAUSE ADDITIONAL MINOR COASTAL FLOODING WITH THE HIGH TIDE CYCLE TONIGHT.

TIDAL DEPARTURES OF 2.0 TO 2.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL MAY RESULT IN MODERATE COASTAL FLOODING TUESDAY MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
