OSSINING VILLAGE — Investigators were continuing to search for a cause of Tuesday night's apartment fire on South Highland Avenue that killed a woman.

The victim, described as a woman in her 70s by a building superintendent, was not publicly identified this morning because her relatives were yet to be notified, police said.

Great job by OFD, unfortunate outcome. The fireground operations were done great, three lines stretched, two trucks to the roof, and probably atleast 6 ground ladders up, couldn't even count how many members were on scene working. Good stop. Sorry for the unfortunate outcome.
