1235hrs- Approx. 10-15 acre brush fire in area of the Heritage Development. NJFF's responding with Barnegat Fire Co. (Station 11)

1236hrs- Stafford Township- Manahwakin (Station 47) to scene.

1245hrs- NJFF's sending heavy equipment and manpower.

1320hrs- Coordinator req. (2) M/A Ocean County Strike Teams to stage on Route 72 for structural protection. CMD rpts (20) acres involved.

1535hrs- PD evacuating homes off West Bay Ave on Brookville Road, Old Brookville Road and the Horizons development.

1545hrs- NJ Forestry rpts approx. (100) acres free burning, no containment ATT.

1630hrs- NJFF rpt air assests activated and enroute. Fire is North/Northwest of Cloverdale Road

1800hrs- (2) Choppers, (2) fixed wing aircraft operating. Fire is approx. (150) acres with (60) people evacuated and in shelter.

2100hrs- NJFF's report (250) acres now burning. (125) volunter firefighters and 80 NJFF members operating.
