Dangerous Drives:Urban Rescue

The is a series on the SPEED channel callled "Dangerous Drives". It's a pretty cool show, and it features jobs that involve dangerous driving. Past episdodes have featured an Iraq convoy, Executive Protection, and Border Patrol.

This past week, a new episode aired, which should be repeating in the next few days depending on local listings. It's entitled "Urban Rescues".

It features an EMS crew from New Orleans and how frusterating it can be to get an ambulance through traffic, and the effect response times can have on a patient.

The show also features Camden FD, and the dangers of manuvering a Seagrave Engine and Seagrave Tiller through City streets. It also points out the effects downtime at the shops can be, and all the dangers of operating such massive complicated trucks.

I think they did a really good job profiling the "Dangerous Drive" it is for us getting to a scene.
