1 Day (TEMS) Tactical Emergency Medical Support "8-Hour Course",

Saturday March 27th, 8am - 5pm

Dutchess County, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

Open to all public safety personnel (Law Enforcement, Security & EMS)

Pre-registration cost is $100 ($50 for NYTEMSA Members)

We will be providing a fast paced day consisting of powerpoint lectures from seasoned veterans in the field. Also we will have skills demonstrations with "voluntary" student participation. We will have many types of TEMS gear to show and tell. Finally, for those interested as the last segments of training, we will be offering a "Quick Clot" overview for those not familiar with the product.

An 8-Hour TEMS Intro Course completion certificate will be given at the end of the day. This should be approved for 8 hours of "Elective" EMS related CME by your unit coordinator.

For those interested in continuing on to the 40 Hour TEMS Course, you can fill out additional paperwork to apply this training to you 8 Hour NYS Security Guard Pre-assignment requirement. This course is required for all non-law enforcement personnel. Please add $25 for NYTEMS processing fee. (additional L1 fingerprinting and NYS application fee's apply to continue this process)
